SOMETHING AUSTRALIANFiled Under: Anything
In any place that you go visit, you would always get a souvenir, any token that would make you remember the place and smile. In Australia, souvenir shops are laden with didgeridoos, cork hats, Aussie shirts and socks, wooden clocks in the shape of Australia, Calendars, diaries, key chains and post cards with some super Australian photos in them. Aboriginal artwork craft items and valuable stuffs like a small gold nugget set in a jewelry box with a magnified top from Perth or western Australia, Opal jewelry from South Australia or NSWand pearls from Broome are some mementos worth treasuring.
For those who don’t want to go for the common goods, you can always try an official Aussie rule Sherrin footy, some Aussie beer, rugby/footy jumper, Aussie surf wear and some good Aussie wine. There are a lot of handmade souvenirs that will surely inspire and bring us back to Australian heritage and culture thus can be truly called something Australian.
